My first blog entry in a long time...
My name is Jason Delmore... I am the Product Manager for ColdFusion... this is my blog. :)
It's about time right???
Yes, I have been spending the last year and a half working on two things... ColdFusion 8 and my 18 month old son Connor. Everything else has been relatively unimportant.
So, what can you expect from CFInsider?
My hope is that this becomes a site geared towards getting all sorts of information about ColdFusion. The latest news, development ideas, links to other information. Etc. The name of the site actually came from the idea of a newspaper. Hopefully, over time the site will live up to that Moniker.
Ray Camden setup his BlogCFC application for me. I have been so busy that I didn't even setup the site myself. How lame am I? Thanks Ray!
I have to admit that I am finally going to take some time off after the marathon you now see as CF8. I will be in the Caribbean, thinking of what's next for ColdFusion (or just drinking margarita's and basking in the sun.) Don't expect too many blog entries for the next couple of weeks. :)
I look forward to making this site something useful for everyone that uses ColdFusion.
Jason
Update 9/4: I'm back from Turks and Caicos and it was the most laid back vacation ever! I'm glad to be back and hope to be updating my site soon. The "bland banana" theme for the site has got to go. ;)

Thanks for the good job
Andrea
Great job.
I wish I were going to Mexico and could take advantage of the offers!
Thanks again everyone!
Congrats!
Sorry for the rant. Again, I know it's not your area and I apologize for bringing this up on your blog but maybe you can poke around Adobe and find out why it is so hard getting serial numbers for those on an upgrade plan.
Thanks...
All of the upgrade serial numbers were sent within 5 days of release. I have heard of issues when contact information has become outdated. Even as much as having the original point of contact leave the company or perhaps an address change can throw this off. I'm sure there are other reasons why this could happen, but that has been the one I keep hearing. You should be able to contact customer support, or Jason Graves (one of the ColdFusion account managers), or sales. Jason's contact information as well as the various sales teams are available at http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/buy/ . If you have any issues there, feel free to drop me an email directly at jdelmore at adobe dot com and we will make sure to get your issue resolved. :)
Hope that helps!
Jason
If you have your Adobe sales order # or your PO #'s send me an email and I will get you CF8. jgraves@adobe. Please include your phone # and shipping address.
