David McGuigan's Gravatar Great article. We're getting ready to deploy two Windows 2008 64-bit servers and the tips on JVM tuning will come in handy. Thanks!

Jason Delmore's Gravatar With ColdFusion 8.0.1, ColdFusion Standard is supported on 64-bit Operating Systems and Web Servers for the first time ever. Which is great news if you ask me. But you are right, in order to take full advantage and run ColdFusion as a 64-bit application, you will need the Enterprise Edition. Either way, this release is a vast improvement in terms of 64-bit capabilities.

Jeff Schoby's Gravatar Except for those who have standard edition and are upgrading their webservers to 64bit linux and can't afford a $6200 upgrade (or don't want to...that's rediculous!)....we're stuck with 32bit coldfusion. That sucks.

64bit CF8 Standard!!! Wouldn't take much to put it out...I mean you've already got a 64bit CF8 build !
